This product is a combination of software and hardware products provided by Shenzhen Weipai IoT Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us" or the "Company"). The smart hardware devices include but are limited to the smart hardware devices of this product (hereinafter referred to as the "Camera") and smart doorbell hardware devices (hereinafter referred to as the "Doorbell"). After binding with the mobile client application "UNI-KAM" (hereinafter referred to as the "APP"), you may control the smart hardware devices through the APP, and view real-time and historical recorded videos captured by the smart hardware devices on the APP. Meanwhile, we also provide functions including image & video event alarm, sound event alarm and two-way audio intercom via the APP. Thank you very much for your trust in us. Your continued use of our products and services shall be deemed as your full understanding and acceptance of this Policy, and your consent to our collection, use, storage and sharing of your relevant information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. ## 1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

### Purposes

In compliance with laws and regulations, we adhere to the principles of legality, legitimacy, necessity and good faith, and collect and use your personal information solely to realize the functions and services of the 【UNI-KAM】 products you choose to use.

 

**Notes**:

Due to differences in technical implementation and mobile operating systems, the scope and collection methods of personal information involved in different application versions may vary. If the actual functions and usage of this software are inconsistent with the description herein, the actual usage shall prevail.

 

We collect and use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including your sensitive personal information such as facial recognition features, voiceprint information, location information of you and your family, as well as purchase and consumption records of this product. Please refer to the following function descriptions for the specific purposes of collecting and using such sensitive information. Once leaked, illegally provided or misused, sensitive personal information may threaten personal and property safety, and easily cause damage to personal reputation and physical and mental health. Therefore, we adopt compliant technical means to encrypt and store sensitive information that you explicitly consent to and actively provide, so as to protect the security of your personal information.

 

We do not indirectly obtain your personal information through other channels such as sharing, transferring or collecting public information. If we need to indirectly acquire your personal information through other channels in the future, we will only collect the minimum information necessary to realize product and service functions, clearly inform you and obtain your explicit consent before collection and use. Meanwhile, we will ensure the legality of information sources and verify the scope of authorized personal information processing of information providers, including usage purposes, authorization for transfer, sharing and public disclosure. The detailed purposes and scope of information collection and usage are as follows:

 

### 1.1 Core Functions of the Product

Core functions refer to the basic capabilities required for the normal operation and service provision of the APP. If you refuse to provide the personal information necessary for service delivery, you will not be able to use this product.

 

#### 1.1.1 Binding Smart Hardware Devices

After logging in to the APP, you may connect and bind smart hardware devices through acoustic wave sensing. To complete device binding, we need to obtain your location information (for obtaining Wi-Fi lists), Wi-Fi network information, network connection status of smart devices and mobile phones, device model, mobile carrier, mobile operating system and version, mobile phone model and local storage permission. The above information will be uploaded to our company server to prevent unauthorized access and management of your smart devices, and better protect your information security. You may unbind devices and delete all relevant personal information through 「Settings > Unbind & Delete Camera」 or 「Settings > Unbind & Delete Doorbell」.

 

#### 1.1.2 View Device Video Footage

After device binding, you can view real-time video and historical recordings captured by smart hardware devices via the APP. You may also save videos locally or share them with contacts through third-party applications. We will not obtain any information of third-party applications (including account information) when you share videos externally. When your mobile phone is connected to Wi-Fi, logged in to the APP, subscribed to cloud storage service or equipped with a TF memory card, you can view and manage historical video records through 「Cloud Storage」 and 「TF Card Recording」.

 

When you use the cloud storage service, all videos captured by smart devices will be encrypted and uploaded to our server for multi-device synchronization and data protection, with a maximum retention period of 7 days. If you use local TF card recording service, videos will only be stored locally on your device and will not be uploaded to our server.

 

Please note that video recordings captured by smart devices may contain facial features of you, your family members or third parties. To protect privacy rights and interests of all parties, please read and understand the 「Product Disclaimer Agreement」 via 「Mine > General Settings > About」 during installation and use. Device videos are critical private information. All uploaded video files will be strictly encrypted and stored on our servers, and will not be used for other purposes or shared with any third parties.

 

#### 1.1.3 Control and Management of Smart Hardware Devices

After binding devices, you may configure device functions via 「Camera > Settings」, including device naming, real-time preview, alarm activation, message push and album management. You may also adjust doorbell settings through 「System Settings」, including monitoring range, stay alarm, forced disassembly alarm and relevant message notification. Your configuration data will be uploaded to our server as control instructions to realize remote device management.

 

#### 1.1.4 Message Center

This function supports one-month full-day video recording and playback when the camera is online. You may configure detection period, sensitivity and message types via 「Mine > Camera Settings > Motion Detection Alarm」, and adjust notification methods through 「Mine > Motion Detection Alarm > Reminder Settings」. To receive timely alerts, you need to enable system notification permissions and allow background operation. Your configuration information will be uploaded to our server for device command delivery. After disabling this function, alarm and message reminder services will be suspended, while other core functions remain unaffected.

In accordance with relevant provisions of the Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China, we warmly remind you:

It is strictly prohibited to install any video recording or audio monitoring equipment in private spaces such as hotel rooms, changing rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Secret photography and peeping at others’ privacy may constitute the crime of infringing citizens’ personal information or the crime of illegal use of special eavesdropping and photographing equipment, with a maximum criminal penalty of seven years of imprisonment.

 

### 1.2 Additional Functions of the Product

Additional functions refer to optional services beyond core and third-party functions, which require your voluntary activation. We will not collect your personal information for functions you do not enable, and you may disable such functions through the specified entry at any time. Disabling additional functions will stop relevant information collection without affecting core APP usage.

 

1. **Screenshot & Recording**: You may capture screenshots and record clips during video playback. Captured content will be uploaded to the server for cross-device synchronization and will not be used for other purposes or shared externally. You may view local screenshots and recordings via 「Mine > Album」.

2. **Human Detection**: We identify facial features captured by smart devices to trigger stranger movement alerts and protect family safety. You may view recorded footage and visitor lists captured by doorbells in the past two days, and mark frequent visitors for accurate stranger identification.

3. **Device Sharing**: You may invite contacts to share device access via QR codes. We will not collect your account information during sharing. Authorized contacts can only view real-time footage and alarm records. You may manage shared member lists via 「Settings > Device Sharing」.

4. **Cloud Storage Subscription**: Cloud storage enables remote video viewing and permanent recording saving. Payment can be completed through third-party channels including WeChat Pay and Alipay. We only collect subscription package information, bound device information and payment results, and will not obtain any third-party payment account data.

 

### 1.3 Third-Party Functional Services

Third-party functions are provided by independent service providers. We only share necessary user data with third parties for legitimate, specific and declared purposes with your explicit authorization. We ensure third parties will not misuse shared information. When you use third-party services, you shall provide relevant information as required by third-party policies, which will be directly uploaded to third-party servers. We will not access or share your personal data with third-party service providers. Please carefully review third-party user agreements and privacy policies before using external services.

 

### 1.4 Device Permission Access

During service provision, the APP will request necessary mobile device permissions. Below is the corresponding business scenario, usage purpose and authorization prompt rules for each permission. You may disable partial or all permissions in your device system settings to refuse relevant information collection. Permission display and disablement entries may vary by device model and system version, please refer to official device instructions. Enabling any permission means you authorize us to collect relevant data for service provision; disabling permissions will terminate corresponding data processing and service functions, without affecting historical data processing conducted under previous authorization.

### 1.5 Product and Service Optimization

To continuously optimize product experience, reduce crash errors and improve service quality, we collect device and application data through system official interfaces, including IMEI, MAC address, carrier information, device model, system version, screen resolution, network type, APP name, version, package name, regional information, usage frequency, operation logs and crash records. Such data will only be used for user volume statistics, usage analysis, fault diagnosis and function optimization, and does not contain personally identifiable information.

 

### 1.6 Security Protection

To enhance service security for you and our affiliates and partners, prevent phishing, fraud, network vulnerabilities, virus attacks and cyber intrusion risks, and identify violations of laws and agreements, we may integrate account data, device information, APP usage records and legally authorized shared data for identity verification, security risk detection, incident auditing and emergency disposal in accordance with legal requirements.

 

### 1.7 Exceptions to Authorization Consent

In accordance with laws and regulations, we may collect personal information without your explicit consent under the following circumstances:

1. For national security and national defense needs;

2. For public safety, public health and major public interest needs;

3. For criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and judgment enforcement;

4. To protect the vital legitimate rights and interests of individuals where consent cannot be obtained in a timely manner;

5. Information actively disclosed by yourself to the public;

6. Information collected from legally public official channels such as authorized news release and government public disclosure;

7. Necessary for contract conclusion and performance at your request;

8. Necessary to ensure the stable operation and fault maintenance of our products and services;

9. Necessary for legitimate news reporting;

10. For public interest statistical and academic research with data de-identification processing;

11. Other circumstances stipulated by applicable laws and regulations.

 

### 1.8 Clipboard Access

**Purpose**: We access your clipboard to read shared links, invitation codes and verification information for content jump, sharing and activity interaction when you receive or send shared content.

**Special Note**: Some mobile systems will automatically prompt clipboard reading behavior, which may cause false alerts. Please contact our customer service if you encounter abnormal prompts for problem troubleshooting.

 

### 1.9 Gravity Sensor

**Purpose**: The gravity sensor is used to monitor mobile phone rotation status, enabling automatic vertical/horizontal screen switching during real-time video viewing, local playback and cloud video playback.

 

### 1.10 Self-starting and Associated Startup Instructions

1. To ensure stable message push reception and custom ringtone playback when the APP is closed or running in the background, the application will apply for self-starting permission and wake up through system broadcast regularly, which is essential for normal service operation.

2. Content push messages will only trigger cross-application jump with your explicit consent; no associated startup will be performed without authorization.

3. Opening files downloaded within the APP may trigger associated startup of third-party applications.

## 2. Storage of Your Personal Information

All personal information collected and generated within the territory of the People’s Republic of China will be stored domestically without cross-border transmission. If cross-border data transmission is required in the future, we will strictly comply with national laws, administrative regulations and regulatory requirements, obtain your separate explicit consent in advance, and fully disclose transmission destinations and usage purposes. We adopt encryption and de-identification technologies to ensure data security during transmission.

 

We only retain personal information within the shortest period necessary for stated purposes and legal compliance. Cloud storage video retention period is subject to your subscribed service term. After you stop using the APP or unbind devices, we will immediately suspend information collection, de-identify your existing data and completely delete relevant information within 3 years. If we cease product operation, we will stop data collection in a timely manner, notify users via individual notice or public announcement, and delete or anonymize all stored personal information.

 

## 3. Sharing, Transfer, Account Suspension and Public Disclosure

### 3.1 Information Sharing

We will not share your personal information with any third-party companies, organizations or individuals except for the following circumstances:

1. Sharing with your explicit independent consent;

2. Complying with legal requirements, judicial proceedings or official mandatory orders from administrative and judicial authorities;

3. Necessary for protecting legitimate public interests, property safety and legal rights of us, users and partners within legal scope;

4. Internal sharing among affiliated companies for service delivery, with strictly limited necessary data and binding privacy protection obligations;

5. Sharing with qualified third-party service providers (technical support, data analysis, payment services, customer service, legal consulting, etc.) under strict data protection agreements, with only de-identified, aggregated or non-identifiable data shared for service optimization.

We will not transfer your personal information to external parties except for the following circumstances:

1. Corporate merger, acquisition, asset transfer or similar business transactions, with mandatory binding of successor entities to this Privacy Policy;

## 4. Protection of Your Personal Information

We adopt industry-standard security protection measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, damage and loss of your personal information. Our system has passed the Level-3 Classified Protection Certification for Cybersecurity and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Certification.

 

We encrypt transmission and storage of sensitive personal data. Device identifiers such as IMEI and MAC address are anonymized and encrypted via MD5 algorithm on mobile terminals before upload. We adopt HTTPS encryption and self-developed transmission encryption protocols for data interaction between APP and servers. For applications adopting WebView technology, strict URL verification and local file access restriction are implemented to prevent sensitive data leakage.

 

We implement server-side access control, minimum authority management for internal staff, regular access log auditing and system security reinforcement. Server operation logs are fully audited and monitored, with timely security patch updates for system vulnerabilities. We regularly organize employee training on personal information protection laws and compliance requirements.

 

In the event of security incidents, we will activate emergency response plans, control risk expansion, report to competent authorities in accordance with laws, and promptly notify users of incident details, impacts and remedial measures via official announcements and message push.

 

## 5. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

The APP does not currently use Cookies or similar tracking technologies.

 

## 6. Your Rights to Manage Personal Information

During your use of the APP, you may exercise the following rights to access, correct, delete and withdraw authorization of your personal information:

**Withdraw Consent and Authorization**

1. Disable system permissions via 「Mobile Settings > Permission Management」 or 「Mine > System Permissions」 within the APP;

2. Disable specific functions or unbind devices through the disablement entries specified in Chapter 1 of this Policy.

 

Disabling functions or permissions shall be deemed as withdrawal of corresponding authorization. Please note that core business functions require basic necessary data support. After withdrawing consent, we will suspend corresponding services and data processing, without affecting legal data processing completed under previous valid authorization.

 

## 7. Protection of Minors’ Personal Information

Minors shall use our products and services under the consent and supervision of legal guardians. We recommend guardians to read this Privacy Policy carefully and guide minors to use network products rationally. If you are a guardian and have inquiries about minors’ personal information processing, please contact us through the official contact methods specified in Chapter 10.

 

## 8. Scope of Application

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to this UNI-KAM product and corresponding services. Our other products and services are governed by independent privacy policies. This Policy does not apply to:

1. Information collected by third-party embedded products and services;

2. Data obtained by independent third-party functional modules, advertisements and external services integrated in our APP.

 

We remind you to carefully review third-party privacy agreements before using external services and properly protect your personal information.

 

## 9. Revision and Update of Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy in due course. We will not reduce your legitimate rights under this Policy without your explicit consent. For major policy changes, we will issue prominent notifications including in-app pop-up reminders during version updates and re-login. Major changes include but are not limited to:
